Exclusive representative and certified partner of HELVAR in Portugal for over 20 years, JFS was distinguished at the HELVAR Partner Awards with the award for the best lighting control project - HELVAR Lighting Intelligence BEST PROJECT OF 2021 - for providing and programming for the Botton-Champalimaud Pancreatic Cancer Centre.

The building is unarguably one of the most emblematic of the city of Lisbon, with a unique aesthetic approach, multidisciplinary research and medical facilities, adjacent to the Champalimaud Foundation Center, considered the fourth best institution in the world in artificial intelligence.

An international reference, exclusively dedicated and unique in the world for the treatment of pancreatic cancer and in the methodology that establishes a direct link and interdependence between research and clinical activity, it includes areas of research laboratories, daytime hospitals, surgical centres, as well as hospitalization and intensive care.

Therefore, this lighting control project, also included in the 'shortlist' of the DALI AWARDS 2021 by DALI Alliance, combines and is sustained by the most technologically advanced equipment. Using the ROUTER System by HELVAR, ensuring the well-being and comfort of all users, as well as intercommunication with the other technical systems of the building, a simple maintenance and monitoring, and a high performance in energy efficiency.

The HELVAR Lighting control system is composed by:
- 75 Lighting Routers (150 DALI subnets)
- 98 Relay Units (290 switched circuit)
- 456 Sensors (44 Multisensors)
- 67 Wall Panels
- 10 Wall Touch Panels
- 47 Interfaces for third party panels
- BACnet Gateways (BacNet Integration with third part)
- DT8 DALI Drivers for Tunable White colour temperature control
- DT8 DALI Drivers RGBW for Colour change
Over 5000 DALI and Switched Luminaires (5000 DALI Drivers of 15 manufactures among them HELVAR)
